Legend

Welcome Reception at the City Hall: the welcome reception will be hosted by the City of Bruges with a short ceremony with a welcome address of the Mayor and the Alderman for the Environment and the co-chairs of the conference.

Opening ceremony: ‘classical’ approach of the opening of a conference.

Debate ‘Beyond the triple helix’: referring to the title of the conference, a debate with representatives of the European organisations representing employers, employees, environmental ngo’s...;

Technical sessions: there are 5 technical sessions, each with possible 3 presentations, eventual a multiple (up to 4) in parallel, on the different key questions;

Poster sessions: next to the poster presentations during the break on Tuesday and Monday, it is foreseen to organise on Wednesday morning a 5 minutes presentation of each poster in the Green Auditorium.

Technical visit: the purpose is to showcase what happens in Flanders; possible visits are e.g. going to www.greenbridge.be

Technical training/workshop: the purpose is to organise/offer – back-to-back – ‘hands-on’ training for engineers/students.
